Encuentros de la Red de Mujeres Indígenas y Rurales por una Justicia Climática 27/6/2023
We continue working on the construction of the Network of Indigenous and Rural Women for Climate Justice.
In this process, since March 2023, we have arranged meetings of influential women from rural areas and indigenous communities with representatives responsible for the judicial system, so as to join efforts in pursuit of climate justice.
In these encounters, experts, female producers and farmers, attorneys, judges, and judicial officials exchange experiences and enhance mutual collaboration to address the challenges brought on by global warming: droughts, fires, soil degradation, and a reduction of carbon footprints in productive systems, the search for alternative energy sources, waste management, sustainability, and green employment.
