SURREALISM IN MEXICO 24/6/2021 al 22/7/2021

During the month of July, the Foro del Sur Foundation conducted an art history course that set out to investigate the repercussions of the artistic movement of surrealism in Mexico. What did Leon Trotsky's presence in Mexico mean for art? And the trips of Antonin Artaud and André Breton to that country? What happened at the International Surrealism exhibition in Mexico in 1940? These were some of the concerns addressed.
