Martín Kaufmann is a sociologist graduated from the UBA - Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires.
With a long academic track record, he was an Associate Professor of Sociology of International Relations at the School of Social Sciences, UBA (1992 / 1996), the Degree in Public and Municipal Administration, and the Social Sciences Area, Universidad Nacional de San Martín (1998).
He was the Academic Secretary of the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (1997) and since 1998 he has been the Vice-Rector of the same institution.
Since 1994 he has been Vice-President of the Fundación Foro del Sur and General Coordinator of the journal Archivos del Presente.
He has served on juries at various universities and is an advisor to the Instituto Universitario del Sur in Uruguay.
He has been responsible for the direction of courses at the Brookings Institution in Washington and the Getulio Vargas Foundation in Brazil.
He is an advisory member of CARI - Argentine Council on International Relations.
