SEMINAR "THE IMPORTANCE OF TOURISM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL ECONOMIES"
In September 1996, the Foro del Sur Foundation organized in Villa La Angostura, in the province of Neuquén, a seminar entitled "The importance of tourism for the development of regional economies". The event was promoted by the Tourism Commission of the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation and sponsored by the Municipality of Villa La Angostura and the Secretariat of Tourism of the Nation. The seminar was attended by the then Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers, Jorge Rodriguez, and Dr. Carlos Corach, Interior Minister of the Government of President Carlos Menem.
