BOOK PRESENTATION: "ARGENTINA AND THE ARAB WORLD" 22/10/2018 al 13/11/2018
The Foro del Sur Foundation invited to the presentation of Julio Jozami's book.
The reality of a world that centers and concentrates in large economic spaces and blurs national borders in search of larger markets makes it essential for emerging countries to integrate their geographies and enhance their capacity for growth in an expanded regional market framework.
The economies of the Arab countries are complementary to that of Argentina, and there is an immense field to develop exchanges and economic and technological cooperation. These are markets in expansion, with high population-growth rates and huge requirements for food, agribusiness, intermediate goods and technology appropriate to their stage of development.
In this direction, our country has successfully transferred technology in nuclear energy and agricultural-livestock exploitation with various Arab countries, as well as cooperated with them in other scientific and technical areas. Likewise, work is being carried out on the study and implementation of joint ventures to be based in Argentina and in the Arab countries, through direct and reciprocal investments.
