DEBATE "RELATIONS BETWEEN THE EUROPEAN UNION AND MERCOSUR"
In October 1994, a working breakfast was held at the headquarters of the Foro del Sur Foundation in which the relations between Mercosur and the European Union were analyzed, with the participation of the Argentine Ambassador to the EU, Dr. Diego Guelar, and the Director of the Europe-Argentina club, Dr. Félix Peña.
The meeting summoned a wide spectrum of business and political leaders who agreed to prioritize the institutionalization of Mercosur as an essential condition for the negotiation with the E.U. to take place with a greater level of equality.
