CONFERENCE "MARKET AND DEMOCRACY" BY ECONOMIST JEAN PAUL FITOUSSI
In April 1998, the French economist Jean Paul Fitoussi was invited to Argentina by the Foro del Sur Foundation with the aim of lecturing a conference entitled "Market and Democracy". Jean Paul Fitoussi, author together with Pierre Rosanvallon of "The Era of Inequalities", reflected on the political effects and the constitution of the subjectivity of mass unemployment and social atomization. The talk allowed for a subsequent debate in which, among others, the then Minister of Interior Carlos Corach and Minister of Education Susana Decibe participated.
