INTERNATIONAL COFFEE WITH OSVALDO ROSALES 23/2/2016
As part of the activities developed by the Foro del Sur Foundation, we hosted a meeting with Osvaldo Rosales together with the members of the ROA Group. A group of experts in international relations -both academics as well as officials and businessmen- had the opportunity to speak directly and openly with the Director of the Division of International Trade and Integration of CEPAL (United Nations) about the current challenges on regional integration, MERCOSUR-Chile relations, and issues related to trade relations with China were addressed; topics that Rosales knows in depth.
Osvaldo Rosales was the General Director of International Economic Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile. He was an advisor to various governments and business organizations on issues of economic policy and trade negotiations. He has a Master in Economics and a Degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Chile. He is one of the main references in economic development and international economy.
